SMASHING ACTION (1) overcame a wide gate fresh up at Naracoorte when scoring as expected by well over a length. This field is not much tougher, and a 3kg claim will help reduce her top weight. She has more upside than most in this, and she can take the next step immediately. VAMPIRE SLAYER (8) has found it hard to win another race and battled on fairly for seventh at Murray Bridge 10 days ago over 900m. She was third over this trip here before that, and can bounce straight back into the money here. OUR GODDESS (3) did not stride out as expected at Balaklava last time out. She was in good form earlier in the year and is worth including in all combinations. STAR DECORUM (5) is resuming from a spell that would have done her the world of good. She can make full use of the pole position and won't be far away. KUITPO KISS (2) won fresh up on a soft track last prep and then had a bleeding attack in her next start.
