KING WALDO (6)is still a maiden and has been doing everything but win a race. He was only bloused out late after setting the pace in a similar field last week when beaten into second place by a head. Wayne Dais steps into the irons, and maybe he can coax that little bit more out of him where it matters most. MOTIVATED MISS (3) is a handy mare resuming from a spell. She has not been overtaxed with racing and should be in for a good year. She comes to handy quickly, and can take this out. POINT LOMA (4) has been battling recently in Alice Springs and will be happy to be back on this track. He can make full use of the pole position and should pick up his first local win at short notice. KESSLER (1) resumes from a spell and might need the hit-out. Check the market.
