COACHMAN (4) has been improving in each of his runs this prep and was runner-up here over this trip 9 days ago, his best effort yet. He has a query on a wet track, but should pick up a win at short notice. BLEDISLOE (1) made up some solid late ground when finishing third over 1250m here last time out. The drop back to 950 is a touch concerning, but a wet track won't bother him, so go again. Each way. SUPERSTITIONS (3) was placed in all 6 starts last prep and will be resuming from a spell that would have done him the world of good. Hard to beat from a good draw. HITCHEDINMANHATTAN (6) fought on strongly when finishing third fresh up here 9 days ago. She strips fitter and gets through wet ground with no problems. Stick with her. KING CANUTE (2) blew out fresh up after setting the pace. He improves with racing and is expected to finish a lot closer this time. Each way.
