X Games New Orleans 2026 betting odds and outright markets

The inaugural summer championship of the X Games League takes place this July, with top athletes in skateboard, BMX and Moto X competing. There are lots of events to enjoy, and you can bet on all the action here at Stake Sportsbook.

How the X Games League format works

The X Games League is a brand-new professional league for action sports. It runs across two seasons. The Summer season features skateboarding, BMX and Moto X events. Meanwhile, the Winter season is scheduled for 2027 and will feature skiing and skateboarding. Each season, there are 3 events to compete in. New Orleans is the decisive final stop of the 2026 Summer X Games League.

The 2026 Summer X Games League features 4 clubs, based in cities around the world. These are Los Angeles, New York, Sao Paulo and Tokyo. Each team fields a roster of 10 athletes, 5 men and 5 women. Athletes compete in events to earn individual medals. By performing well, they earn points for their team, and the team with the highest points wins the XGL Championship.

While competing in events at the X Games League, athletes get 3 runs, with only their best single run score counting toward their position. Judges, who evaluate the difficulty, variety and execution of each run, award scores. Scores use a 0-100 scale.

Throughout the XGL Championship, you’ll be able to bet on individual events and outright markets at Stake.

Skateboarding at the X Games New Orleans includes men’s and women’s events in Street, Park and Vert. Top athletes to watch when you bet on skateboarding include:

  • Sky Brown (Sao Paulo) - Has 3 gold medals and 2 silver. Won the women’s skateboarding Park at Chiba.

  • Ariza Trew (Tokyo) - Has 10 gold medals and 1 silver.

  • Sora Shirai (Tokyo) - Has 1 gold medal and 3 bronze.

BMX events and athletes to watch

At X Games New Orleans, there will be men’s BMX Park and Street, as well as BMX dirt and Dave Mirra BMX Park best trick. In addition, the women’s BMX Park competition will be held. Top athletes to watch include:

  • Ryan Williams (São Paulo) - Had 13 gold medals and 3 silver.

  • Brady Baker (Los Angeles) - Has 3 gold medals and 3 silver.

  • Perris Benegas (Los Angeles) - Has 1 silver medal and 1 bronze.

  • Miharu Ozawa - Has 2 gold medals (Tokyo) - Won the women’s BMX Park at Chiba.

Moto X events and athletes to watch

The Moto X best trick event offers a chance for the best Moto X riders to compete, including:

  • Luc Ackermann - Has 1 gold medal, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

  • Rob Adelberg - Has 12 gold medals and won the Moto X best trick at Chiba.

X Games betting odds and outright markets at Stake

In the X Games League, athletes also earn points for their teams by performing well. Winners receive 100 points, while those in 2nd to 6th place get between 80 and 20 points depending on their position.
